Barbie Fairy Princess
Is it just me or Barbie is still racist than before?
I'm excited. I bought my daughter was 11 Barbie movies. Barbie Princess Collection and the Fairytopias. Not one of them is black, Asian, American Indian or Spanish in it. All characters are white with different hair colors. My daughter, the five in this caught. She told me they can never a Barbie princess or a fairy (as I do), because their skin does not like Barbie. That pissed me off to answer some the comments below. I bought all these movies at the same time because a friend of mine knows to be happening, she said good movies. What they are, but not for my Child, or any other child related with color. Yes, there is the false sense of body image, but that is primarily about the movie, my daugter a negative image of their own skin color. (And there is no way that I am somewhat racist, my child, because they teach is self-mixed. Her father is white and Cuban.)
I took on this at only six years old! So I've never played with Barbies growing up instead of dinosaurs and horses, as they seem to be diverse. But its so sad and I would never have children, because no matter whether it's black or they would never biracal aCaution they need like a white child. This world is sick and unfair, and it kills me I should have never brought up as a girl. It's like Asians and Hispanics and blacks are not worthy of anything. lol the first poster said, just do not buy their Barbies … wtf …. if the tables were turnned trust me we would be hearing an uproar. To the poster Debra below you on crack? It should say, a five-year-old to wake up and Forget Barbie and so on? Now tell a white child, and if their parents a $ $ to see a kick! You need to know to be an adult not five, that stuff anyway …. You must really old to remember children like toys … how stupid can a human being?
